Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition

The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze assessed expedition that was delayed due to Covid finally took place on Saturday 3 October in Richmond Park and on Sunday 4 October at Epsom Common. Despite the cold weather and persistent rain on the Sunday, we all persevered as a year group and managed to have fun and work together as a team! We were split into groups of six, and used our navigating skills learnt on the practice weekend last year. It was lovely seeing so many teachers cheering us on throughout the expedition, especially Mr Cox, who spent his weekend looking after us, putting smiles on all our faces. The staff at Activ succeeded in making sure we had anenjoyable time and that we kept our spirits high. Without them, we wouldn’thave been so positive throughout the weekend.

Thank you to Mr Cox, Mr Rock, the other teachers from St. Catherine’s and thestaff at Activ for providing us with this opportunity
